|
Allison is one of Hawaii's youngest recording artist who has won awards for her first CD self titled, Allison. Allison, also known as Allie, has been recording since age 7. She has appeared on television once a month since age 7. Aloha Joe radio has songs from Allison's CD in rotation. Also you can hear Allison on Gone Fishing For Blue Skies (Check play list) Allison had the honor of opening the Hawaii Music Awards live on the internet back on April 6, 2003 and opened the 3rd annual Omni Youth Awards in L.A. with the song, Let There Be Peace On Earth. Allison returned in 2006 to pick up her second Omni Youth Award for BEST BIG BAND- SWING. She also performed Orange Colored Sky. We can see why Allison has been invited back to L.A. to work on other projects so we never know where might see/hear her next. Remember you read about her here first. Allie, finished recording her first CD in 2002 with Pierre Grill at Rendez'Vous Recording Studio in Honolulu, Hawaii which allowed her to enter in the 6th Annual Hawaii Music Awards. Allison was the youngest artist who won and performed at the 2003 awards at the Hawaii Music Awards held at the Aloha Towers Market Place. Allison has attending the awards each year since and has also attends the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards (the Hawaiian Grammy if you will) In 2003, Allie went back in the recording studio to work on her follow up CD, Mele Kalikimaka. This Seasonal CD, released December 18, 2003, includes 11 songs. One song that shows off Allie's Hawaiian Language skills is the well known song, Rainbow Connection. She sings the song in both English & in Hawaiian. Allie also knows the hula to the song Rainbow Connection. And was back in the studio again in 2005 to work on a few more Christmas songs that will go on a special single and added to her Christmas CD in the future. As Allie gets older, her voice is getting better. She has amazing pitch she has been told by many professionals in the business. With her changing voice, she just may consider re recording, I'll Be By Your Side, one of two songs written by singer/songwriter, Tim Couch. These songs are found on her first CD, ALLISON.
Allie recorded The Year Of The Family on an album called Children Like Me as a guest artist. She has one of 2 vocal tracks on the CD with original songs written and produced by a former State Legislator, Terrence Tom. The choir in the background is the 1991 State Legislature. To hear the song, visit the discography page, to read the review of this CD see the link below So what else keeps this young entertainer busy when not in class, the recording studio, hula, performing or hanging out with friends? Allie is a member of The Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus and also is featured on a television show at least once a month. Since the Hawaii Music Awards And almost every Sunday afternoon you can hear her singing with Pierre Grill at the Elk's Club, right on the beach!
