How to request to use images

Mahalo for viewing my site. Like any artist, it delights me to see my work used and enjoyed, but not abused. I hope to help inspire other artist with my photographs. If you are interested in using any of my images on your website, or to promote the subject it's about,  please contact me stating what you will be using it for.  Then know what usage rights you have to the image. 

Some are images are royalty-free*, (stock photography),  that are licensed for a negotiated fee.  Some images can be donated without a fee, please check first.  Images containing people may require additional approval.  

 I normally ask for photo credit, (either as Kathy Boast, K Boast or kathyboast.com) and a link to my site.  I understand not all usage of an image can be given credit or links and exceptions can be made. 

 I have lots of reference photos for artist and for school projects. Photos used for School Projects (& Teachers). If you e-mail me, I can send you a better image to use or something more unique.  If you intend to use these images for something, please e-mail me and let me know before you borrow, images are protected by copyright laws. Some images may need addition permission not granted by me.

If your image is up on my site and you would like it replaced, please contact me letting me know where the image you want replaced or removed is located, your image if agreed that I am in violation of using this image, I will remove it. Example, if your "property" or "property " of someone you know (building or animal)  is in the image and you know or feel it is infringing on someone's copyright, kindly let me know. I will remove it or work to get things worked out.  When shooting, I try to let people know I am taking photos to be published. Misunderstandings do happen. I may have gotten permission from the wrong persons. Rules do vary from place to place.
