Artists that I am aware of who have used my images in some way.  I just LOVE hearing from other artist who want to paint from my photographs. I love it even more so when they have a God Given Gift!  I am excited and honored to invite you to learn about these artists and friends who have permission to use my photographs as reference or inspiration.  If you have a favorite photo of mine you may want to paint, let me know. If you send me a copy of what you did, I would be happy to list you on this page as well.
Beth Helms This artists has painted my Honulele image in water colour!  She did an amazing job!  She named the painting Honulele II.  Thanks Beth!  You may notice another turtle image that looks like some of my images?? Well, Beth and I went out together to see the Sea Turtles when I was having my vacation time in Hawaii in May 2003.  We got a lot of GREAT photos that day.
Sherry Albrecht Sherry & I met over AOL. I was living in Hawaii and she noticed my profile. She's an artist and was wanting to get more involved with doing her art.  I provided a few photos for Sherry and I am amazed by the finished piece. Sherry did her first art show and had a couple of the ones she painted using my photos as reference.  She promises to get more of her work online soon.
Kim Mitchell Kim Mitchell is an Artists living in Hawaii.  She had contacted me and asked to use on of my photos as a reference. I never dreamt someone with this amount of talent would offer to paint a series from my images.  I hope to introduce more paintings from Kim on this site in the near future. So far two photos have been started in the new series. I have a collection of some of her other Honu paintings shown on this page.  I think you will love these. Oh and there's a mermaid couple!  I LOVE MERMAIDS!
Dean Garcia comes from a very talented family.  He has used a few of my turtle photos as references back in 2000-2001.  I was out at Turtle Bay Resort and I saw him painting with his father.  I noticed some of his paints and had to question if he had used the photos. He had used a few, these were photos mainly for details, colors and ideas, these were photos that I call TRUE Reference shots that most will never see.  Dean has done a lot of Turtles and other sea life. He is truly talented and I hope you check out his website and help support his art.

Walfrido I am a fan of Walfrido's work and him as a person radiating of ALOHA.  The first time I met him in January 2001 he painted a golf course original from one of my photographs.  He was at his gallery on the North Shore waiting to paint something different. The photo was from an golf outing. The person in charge of the outing has the original painting.  Walfrido's work can be found in a few galleries in Hawaii, including my favorite, WYLAND GALLERIES.
 

Jon Mozo- did not use my images. He was one of the photographers who I admired. He loved Hawaii and the ocean and took great risk to capture the moment. He will be missed. (1971-2005)
