Here comes Charley....

The night before Charley is due to visit the Carolina Coast we had a nice rainbow at sunset and the sunset itself made a lot of color changes... Hope you enjoy...  In case she does hit... this WAS my house the night before the storm...

Here are a few during and the after Charley.  The only damage we had was a dead pine feel on the power line. We were without power for 8 1/2 hours. You can see a few small branched and leaves fell. We were really lucky... this time around.

These are a few before Bonnie... She put on a good lightening show when she hit the area. These photos were taken with in a few minutes of each each other, you can see how fast this storm was moving. Same with Charley.

Last week we got sod... Now I will admit I did do SOME laying of the sod, but my wonderful husband laid 95% of it.  Good thing we got it down last weekend we've been having lots of rain and cooler temperatures!
