LEIS
Leis are traditionally used in Hawai’i to welcome visitors and celebrate special occasions.
The lei is the Hawaiian symbol of love (aloha), appreciation, and
accomplishment.
The custom of giving and receiving leis began in the days of old Hawaii.
There are leis that are worn on the head, ankles, and wrists.
